Dean Milverton
Dean has lived and worked in Central America for over 10 years. Originally from
Australia, Dean first visited Central America in 1999 where we worked with a
grass roots tourism development project in the Guatemalan highlands.
During his
time in Central America, Dean has worked in numerous jobs in the tourism development, promotion, marketing and business management
sector. Dean's experience and skills have assisting in the contiually growth and development of new projects
such as the Adventures on Roatan DVD and the Roatan Relocation and Investment
Guide, while also increasing the client base of Tortuga Digital.
Dean splits his time between Roatan and Australia, where we currently works in a
web consulting role, with an international tourism marketing company which is
based in Cairns, Australia. Dean currently oversees the day to day management of
Tortuga Digital and assists in all new web development projects.
Clemie Welcome
Clemie was born and raised in French Harbor, Roatan. She attended public
school and collage in La Ruben Barahona in French Harbor for 9 years, during
this time she studied with a government scholarship (BECA) for 6 years. On
completion of collage Clemie attended the Institute Tectico in Brick Bay for 3
years, where she completed a Computer Studies Course. Currently Clemie continues
her studies at the University in Roatan, UTH (Universidad Tecnologica de
Honduras) where she is studying Business Management.
Clemie is married and has a
young daughter, Heather. Clemie grew up in a loving family with her grandmother
and dad. In her spare time Clemie enjoys spending time with her family, keeping
up to date with local news and events while also learning about new places,
culture and history.
Clemie has been working for Tortuga Digital for the past 4
years as the Office Manager. Clemie is your day to day contact in the office,
for service inquiries or accounting, she also handles the day to day office
management. Clemie enjoys her job especially meeting and assisting clients, and
learning new tasks and skills. Clemie's friendly attitude and organization
skills are a huge benefit to Tortuga Digital and all their clients. One of
Clemie’s goals is to complete her University and to continue working in an
exciting and beneficial work role.
